Privacy

Last updated 11 October 2026

This policy covers this website. It is written in plain English, and it describes what the site actually does rather than every thing a website could do.

Peregrine Office is based in Melbourne, Australia.

The short version

We do not run analytics on this site. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag, and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

There is no form on this site that we own. The only place you can type anything is the booking page, and that is run by Cal.com.

Our host keeps standard server logs. That is the extent of what we collect directly.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, a tag manager, an advertising pixel, or any other measurement tool, and we do not profile visitors or share anything with advertisers. That is why you are not being asked to accept cookies: there is nothing here to accept.

The booking page is the exception, and the cookies there are not ours. The calendar is served by Cal.com inside a frame on our page, and Cal.com may set its own cookies and use its own local storage on that frame to make the booking work. Those are governed by Cal.com's privacy policy, not this one.

If you never open the booking page, no cookies are set by us or by Cal.com.

Booking a session

The booking page at /book embeds a scheduling tool made by Cal.com, Inc., a third party. When you book, the details you enter go to Cal.com and are processed on their systems under their privacy policy, not this one.

The calendar loads only when you ask for it. Opening /book requests nothing from Cal.com: the page shows a button, and Cal.com is contacted only after you press it.

Those details are the ones the booking form asks for: your name, your email address, the time you pick, and anything you choose to write in the notes field. We receive the booking from Cal.com and use it to turn up to the call and to reply to you about it.

Cal.com is the reason this section exists. We have not written our own booking form, so we cannot promise you that your details stay with us. They do not. They go to Cal.com first.

If you would rather not use the embed, email us and we will arrange a time by email instead.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Vercel. Like almost every web host, Vercel records a log line for each request: the IP address it came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser's user agent string. We do not set the contents of those logs and we do not build profiles from them.

We use them for the ordinary reasons a host's logs exist, which are keeping the site up and working out what broke when something does.

Email

If you email us, we have your email. We keep the correspondence so we can carry on the conversation, and we do not add you to a mailing list off the back of it.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for anyone else's advertising.

We do not send your information overseas ourselves. Our host and Cal.com are both United States companies and run infrastructure outside Australia, so using this site does involve your information being handled overseas by them.

Your information, and how to reach us

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address below and we will answer.

The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) exempts most small businesses from the Australian Privacy Principles, and that exemption is likely to apply to us. We follow the Principles anyway, as a matter of practice. We would rather tell you that than imply an obligation we have not had confirmed.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and give us a chance to fix it. If that goes nowhere, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner takes privacy complaints at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
